Thank you for your support of Dune: The Storyboards. Dune: Part One, Part Two, and the third film to come are very special to us at Legendary, and the opportunity to go deep into Denis Villeneuve’s creative process with artist Sam Hudecki in this book is a true privilege. We greatly appreciate your support of this pre-sale campaign, which allowed us to create a unique version especially for you.
We will have more updates for you soon, and we wish you a very happy 2026. It will be a great year for Dune fans!

There are a lot of questions coming in now that the Kickstarter is over, so let's dive in:
Q: I missed the campaign - can I still pledge?
A: Yes! We have Late Pledges turned on! If you go to the campaign page you'll see this at the top above the title. You can still go select rewards as if the campaign were live.
Q: I opted to do "Pledge Over Time" for my order. How does that work?
A: Kickstarter has a very extensive explanation on all that here. It covers everything from the timing of the 3 payment installations, to what happens if you cancel a card in the middle of the process. It's super helpful, but if you have a question about anything that isn't answered, please click here to DM us and we'll assist.
Q: When will the BackerKit surveys be going out?
A: It takes around two weeks for Kickstarter to process all pledges, so we are aiming to have surveys launch around the first or second week of February. When surveys do go out, they will go to the email address you have associated with your Kickstarter account. We'll do an update officially announcing when they have begun to go to everyone. It's worth noting though that it can take BackerKit up to 48 hours to process all surveys fully. If at that point you still have not received one, please check your spam folder, and check that the email you used on Kickstarter is the email account you're checking.
Note For Apple ID Users:
Please note, if you use an Apple ID with your email address, a different email could be generated for you for security reasons, and as a result, you might not receive an email to your survey. If you need this email changed, please DM us and we'll get you sorted!
Note For Pledge Over Time Backers:
You will not receive a survey invite link until after your order has been paid in full.
Q: What's the purpose of the BackerKit survey?
A: We use these surveys for primarily two reasons:
- To collect shipping payments and addresses for all our backers, so that we can eventually send their pledge rewards.
- To provide backers with the ability to modify the reward tier they selected or get a last chance to add-on items.
Q: How long will I have to complete my survey?
A: Our goal is to get as many surveys completed as possible, so we give around 30 days to allow everyone proper time.
Q: I want to change reward tiers, can I do this?
A: We can upgrade you to a different tier, just please DM us when you get your survey.
Q: When will my order arrive?
A: As noted in each physical reward tier, estimated fulfillment is set for March of 2027.
The estimated fulfillment dates in the reward tiers are subject to the release date for the upcoming third Dune film. This campaign will not fulfill until after the release of that movie, as it contains storyboards and spoilers.
Please be mindful though of the following that is noted on our FAQ:
The delivery dates associated with each reward are based on our anticipated production schedule. They are not guaranteed and, as they are described, are ESTIMATES. Once we finish surveys and all add ons are locked we go into production on those items and will provide campaign updates throughout the process. Should dates shift, which is not uncommon, we will provide new estimated delivery dates in updates. Please note, that no date provided should be considered a locked and promised date until we have the graphic novels at the warehouse and until such time all estimated dates are subject to change.
